Saturday Kitchen & Rum!

Olly was in the Saturday Kitchen last weekend, with Matt, chefs Anna Haugh and Richard Bainbridge and special guest comedian Laura Smyth. Here are his drinks pairings in case you missed them…

With Anna’s Balsamic Prawns with cherry tomatoes and creamy polenta, Olly paired Aldi’s Unearthed Bardolino Chiaretto Rosé 2023, £7.99.

With Richard’s Radish Tart, Olly poured a glass of the Co-op’s Hidden Vine Mauzac 2023, £8.35

For Laura’s Heaven of Jamaican-style beef and pepper stir fry, Olly created a Naughty Hugo!

Pour a glass of Prosecco, Olly used Tesco Finest Prosecco, top with Elderflower Liqueur like St-Germain (widely available) and garnish with sprigs of mint & lemon – hold the soda!

For Laura’s Hell of Roasted Scallops, Olly would have paired Tesco’s Finest Viña del Rey Albariño 2023
