Kanonkop Kadette Cape Blend
With the 2019 just hitting the shelves, this is a red that punches way above its price, this slinky, silky delicious firm red is an absolute beauty. The thing I love about it is the balance in the blend (44% Pinotage, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc) which makes every dimension of this vino resonate. Incredible as an all-rounder, magic with a Sunday roast and you could happily sip it on the sofa revelling in a good book. Sumptuous wine, terrific value. Go South Africa!
