Exceptional Central Otago Pinot Noir 2023
Well, it had to be a Pinot Noir to celebrate Waterstones’ special offer on Death By Noir. And this one, in the best possible way, is ludicrous. I’m forbidden from revealing the producer but it’s top grade Pinot Noir at a price that I am staggered by. If this was twice the price and more I would still be recommending it for its aromas of sage and delightful summer fruits, it’s as silky as it is splendid with supple richness and an elegant tapering finish.
As soon as I get the right dish to pair it with, I’ll be putting this one on the telly so get in while you can, it’s stunning New Zealand Pinot Noir.
